The taiga bean goose is a goose that breeds in northern Europe and Asia and winters further south in Europe and Asia. It is 68 to 90cm long, with a wingspan of 140 to 174cm and a weight of 1.7 to 4kg. The bill is black at the base and tip with an orange band across the middle, and the legs and feet are bright orange. The upper wing coverts are dark brown with narrow white fringes (Wikipedia, general species account).

The taiga and tundra bean geese diverged about 2.5 million years ago and made secondary contact about 60,000 years ago. The sources opened say nothing on how often it reaches Nepal, and give no breeding or diet detail, so none is stated.
