Basic stats

Range

Bangladesh, Pakistan (Punjab), Mizoram and Manipur (India), Nepal and possibly Rakhine (Myanmar); treated as a synonym of Euphlyctis adolfi

The name Euphlyctis kalasgramensis was given in 2015 by Howlader and colleagues to the skittering frog of Bangladesh. A 2022 genetic study by Dufresnes and colleagues, and a 2024 note in Reptiles & Amphibians, treat it as a junior synonym of Euphlyctis adolfi, so records under the old name now belong to that species (Reptiles & Amphibians 2024 note, open access).

Under the old name it was reported from Bangladesh, Pakistan's Punjab, Mizoram and Manipur in north-east India, Nepal and possibly Rakhine in Myanmar, at 40 to 1,460m in Mizoram. The sources opened give no size, appearance or breeding detail (Reptiles & Amphibians 2024 note, open access).
