The fork-tailed drongo-cuckoo is 24.5 to 26cm long and can be observed from the lower Himalayas, at about 200m, up to 2,600m, depending on the location. It is a brood parasite and lays its eggs in the nests of other species, with eggs very similar to those of the host so that they are cared for (Wikipedia, general species account).
