Lesser Black Krait

It is a rather small snake with a smooth black to bluish-black back and a white upper lip. The belly scales are white with grey edges, and the small black eyes with round pupils sit towards the snout. The species name refers to its lead-coloured appearance (Wikipedia, general species account).

It feeds primarily on other snakes. The account used here gives no information on size or breeding.
