Polypedates himalayensis

Basic stats

Habitat

Moist deciduous forest, and semi-urban areas with extensive gardens; 100–2,000m

Range

North-eastern India (account opened)

The Himalayan tree frog is a tree frog formerly treated as a subspecies of the Indian tree frog. It has been observed between 100 and 2,000m, and is typical of moist deciduous forest, though it also lives in semi-urban areas, especially cities with extensive gardens or plants. It is associated with freshwater habitat (Wikipedia, general species account).

Scientists believe it is not in danger of extinction because of its large range and tolerance of human-altered habitats. The account opened places it in north-eastern India and does not name Nepal, so its presence in Nepal is flagged for checking. No size, colour or call information was found in the sources opened.
