The skittering frog, or Indian skipper frog, is a common frog of South Asia, brown or olive above and dark spotted or marbled, with two blackish streaks on the back of the thighs that are seldom absent. The underside is often speckled with blackish. The head is moderate, the snout scarcely pointed and the eardrum distinct (Wikipedia, general species account).

It is widely distributed at low to moderate elevations, from south-eastern Iran, southern Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bhutan, Nepal and eastern India east to extreme western Myanmar.
