The Asiatic long-tailed climbing mouse is a small rodent, 7 to 9cm in head and body, with a tail of 10 to 12cm. It climbs many plants such as cane grass and lives in forest, shrubland and grassland at about 200 to 1,500m (Wikipedia, general species account).

The species is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. Its life span is about two years.
