Diard's blind snake, also called the Indochinese blind snake, the large blind snake or the large worm snake, is a harmless snake in the blind snake family. It is native to South and Southeast Asia, and two subspecies are recognised. Like other blind snakes it lives underground and is easily mistaken for a large earthworm (Wikipedia, general species account).
Its preferred natural habitats are forest, shrubland and grassland at elevations of 30 to 1,524m, and it has also been found in agricultural areas. It preys on earthworms, insect larvae and adult insects. The Reptile Database lists Nepal along with north-east India, Bangladesh and Bhutan. The sources opened give nothing on size or breeding, so none is stated.
