Hume's Short-toed Lark

Hume's short-toed lark is a lark of south-central Asia, from Iran and Kazakhstan to China, 13–14 cm long, with the sexes similar. It is like the greater short-toed lark in size and appearance but generally a duller-looking bird with slightly darker plumage and a slightly smaller beak; as with the greater short-toed lark, colour varies across the broad range and is not a good distinguishing feature (Wikipedia, general species account).
